Content Intern

Join StitchedIn, a growing digital publishing and media company on a mission to empower all American consumers through meaningful content experiences, as a Content Intern on the content team. StitchedIn is looking for a curious and motivated individual to join our dynamic team for the summer. The Content Intern will dive right in, creating and managing a variety of content each week for the StitchedIn family of brands that will be viewed by millions of readers each day.

The Content Intern will learn and grow through this internship, walking away with an extensive published writing portfolio, an invaluable understanding of what successful content looks like in the marketplace, a capstone market research project, a business mentor, and resume-building experience in the startup ecosystem.

This internship entails:

• Content creation—The Content Intern will create a variety of content each week for the StitchedIn family of brands.

• Content management—Learn the backend of our proprietary CMS and assist in publishing content for our family of brands.

• Market research and analysis—Conduct research and analyze what type of content is successful in the marketplace to help our early-stage brands grow.

The ideal candidate is:

• Organized and has the ability to work on multiple project simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• A quick and eager learner

• A journalism or writing major with experience writing for web platforms

• Interested in food and cooking

• Skilled in photography, videography, and/or video editing (Desired, not required)

Applicants must be an enrolled college or graduate student with legal authorization to work in the United States. Work will be remote and the candidate will utilize their own workspace, computer and internet access. Regular meetings and daily work require a stable internet connection.
